Hey, hey fellow wanderers! I’m Raquel, also known as Rock.
My childhood friends shortened my nickname from Rocky, which was a nickname lovingly given to me by my cousins. Speaking of childhood, I was born for adventure. My dad would take me camping and wake up in the middle night to find me missing from my sleeping bag. Upon quickly exiting the tent, filled with adrenaline and fear, he would find me with a flashlight crouched low under the bed of the truck. When asked what I was doing, I said “looking for ghosts”.
Well, as an adult, I no longer wake up in the middle night looking for ghosts. But I still seek adventures. That sense of “no fear” that comes with being a child looks different as an adult. I have no fear in seeking out ways to live my best life and having fun while doing it. This includes exploring new things, various places, and experiencing different ways of doing life. I cherish the memories I have from these adventures.
That’s why I’m here. I want a space for me to capture these adventures and memories as I get older. But I also want to share my adventures and offer ideas to you. Because I want you to wander and live a life full of fun adventures and memories. Thank you for being here. And…
